With a childhood passion for mathematics that evolved into a commitment to democratizing data skills access, Asya has seamlessly blended her love for numbers with her desire to advance equity in public health and STEM fields. Rose Data Studio provides comprehensive training in data literacy, statistics, and data storytelling, empowering professionals from diverse backgrounds to lead, collaborate, and innovate in their respective sectors.

 

Asya's educational journey is a testament to her dedication and expertise. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Spelman College and an M.S. in Biostatistics from the Fielding School of Public Health at UCLA. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Policy Analysis at the Pardee RAND Graduate School, where her research focuses on workforce preparation and broadening participation in data science careers. Her academic credentials complement her extensive professional experience in population health research and data analytics, making her a sought-after educator and mentor.

 

Asya is focused on equipping people with the skills they need to create data-informed solutions and foster more equitable futures in their lines of work.
